All sanctioned swim meets have entry fees, either as a flat fee or per event entered. Coaches will enter athletes who have signed up and all entry fees will be charged monthly through Keyano's billing system.

The Keyano Candy Cane Invitational is a 2.5-day meet open to all Keyano swimmers. This is a very fun meet with lots of draw prizes. A great meet to finish off the the year as we head into the winter break!

Friday PM
50m events only. Results from all 4x50m events are added up and a Broken Candy Cane award is presented to the fastest add-up from 8&under, 9yo, 10yo, 11yo, 12yo, 13yo, 14yo and 15&over age categories, per gender.

Most Bronze swimmers will participate in the Friday session where all 4x50s of each stroke are offered. Coaches will enter swimmers into the stroke events in which the swimmers are ready to compete.

Saturday & Sunday AM
These are preliminaries sessions, meaning that swimmers will race their entries according to the order of events. The top 8 in preset age groups will qualify for the Finals on Saturday and Sunday PM.

Saturday & Sunday PM
These are Finals sessions plus RELAYS! A lot of Keyano swimmers will be eligible to swim these relay races. Relays are done in teams of 4; kids race in their age groups and swim 50m each. Relays are at the start of Saturday and Sunday PM sessions so that young ones who are otherwise not in the Finals can enjoy the whole experience and still be in and out of the building all in under about 2 hours.

Finals are for swimmers who qualify in the top 8 from the preliminaries in their age group. The top 8 race for glory and prizes!

Prizes
There are tons of prizes at the Candy Cane meet. Best times win a mini candy cane and a ticket for draw prizes. Draw prizes are drawn every session and an awards table is set up for swimmers to gawk, stare, dream and motivate those best times. :)
