About Keyano Summer Swim Camps:

  • Duration: Each session is 1 week long with a focus on a specific theme of the day. This allows us to cover all major strokes and swimming skills throughout the week.
  • Progress Reports: Swimmers will receive a report at the end of each week, including a Keyano group placement for the 2026-27 season. It’s a great way to get a feel for the Keyano Swim Club program and get the best possible assessment for fall placements.
  • Group Placement: Swimmers are grouped by experience level first, then by age within their training group.
  • Flexibility: The experience levels of swimmers can vary greatly week-to-week. We may move swimmers up or down a level to keep groups cohesive and provide the best experience for everyone.

*Weather Cancellations:

  • If any camp days are cancelled due to weather or pool closures, we will offer a 100% refund for those missed days. We’ll do everything we can to run each camp day, but sometimes circumstances outside our control (like pool closures by the City of Edmonton) may cause changes.
If you have any questions about Camps please contact:
  • New to Keyano? Contact Lindsey at office@eksc.com for help with registration and selecting the best level for your camp.
  • Returning member? Contact Coach Matt at mbowkowy@eksc.com. Your camp group should match your club group.
  • Billing questions? Contact Chris at generalmanager@eksc.com

The YMCA - Keyano Club Program is a new joint initiative of both organizations to bring Edmonton's top competitive swimming experience to YMCA facilities. The program combines YMCA resources and volunteer staff with Keyano's world class development system for young swimmers.

At each participating YMCA location, swimmers will learn all of the Bronze and Silver level curriculum objectives of the Edmonton Keyano Swim Club and upon completing the program will be masters of all 4 competitive swimming strokes and have ultimate confidence in their swimming abilities for the rest of their lives. Graduating swimmers are welcome to progress to Gold programs currently offered at various pools around the City of Edmonton. See Keyano's website for more information.

YMCA - Keyano Club members will have access to Keyano's unique Bear Cubs race nights at the Kinsmen Sport Centre on Wednesdays approximately once per month, and have an additional option of attending all of Keyano's Wednesday programming.

Registration for this program is for YMCA members only. Inquire at your local YMCA.

For Volunteers & Officials with no swimming members only. Subject to further approval by the Board of Directors.
