EKI 2026

The Edmonton Keyano International is a four-day heats and finals swim meet, serving as the grand finale of the Alberta Provincial Series. With approximately 800 swimmers expected, this event offers a fantastic season-ending competition for Gold swimmers and an excellent tune-up meet for performance swimmers as they prepare for Provincials and Nationals.

Date: July 2nd to 5th, 2025 (Thursday to Sunday)
Pool: Kinsmen Sports Centre, Edmonton AB

Swimmers eligible: Gold, Junior & Senior Provincial, Junior & Senior National.
*Gold swimmers who do not meet the qualifying standard will be entered in 3 events.

July 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Prelims

July 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Finals

**Please be on deck 20 minutes prior to the start of warm-up

Meet Entry Fees: TBC per individual event (50-200), TBC per individual event (400-1500m) & TBC per relay event.
*Coaches will enter athletes who have signed up and all entry fees will be charged monthly through Keyano's billing system. 

Entry Limit: Swimmers may be entered into a max of 8 individual events (if they have achieved an EKI qualifying time).
1 QT + 2 Bonus swims = 3 total entries
2 QT + 2 bonus swims = 4 total entries
3 QT + 2 bonus swims = 5 total entries 
...
6 or more QT = 8 total events (max)

OFFICIALS - sign up will be opening in May, however if you have role or availability preferences, please reach out to officials@eksc.com   We want all members to finish their remaining points at this event so make sure you sign up early to avoid disappointment.  

 

General disclaimer about fees & sign-up deadlines: Signing up for any event constitutes a financial commitment to that event. Note that sign-up deadlines are set such that fees are no longer refundable beyond that date. Keyano pays for event costs and for entry fees to other club's hosted meets up front on behalf of members, and then passes those costs on to those signed up for a competition through monthly invoices. As a non-profit organization, it is our mandate to ensure each member is responsible for their own fees as of the sign-up deadline.

All fees and payments will be calculated on an individual basis and invoiced through the club payment system. We ask that you always contact your home coach and/or Keyano staff and never to contact host swim clubs / contacts outside of Keyano directly.
