Octoberfest 2026
This event is for swimmers in the Silver to National groups and is a start-up swim meet for the season. The meet is only 1 session and runs only the 4 stroke 50m events. We want all of our experienced swimmers to get a few races off the blocks to kick off the season without taking up a whole weekend at this time of year. It's short, sweet, and fun to get back to racing!

Date: October 17th, 2026 (Saturday)
Pool: Kinsmen Sports Centre
Swimmers eligible: Returning Silver swimmers up to Senior National swimmers.
- Bronze swimmers & newer Silver swimmers will not attend, unless a coach extends a specific invitation.
- Swimmers newer to competitions will have their first experience at our Bear Cubs intro meet during Wednesday night practice later in October.
Meet Times:
Saturday October 17th - TBC
**Please be on deck 20 minutes prior to the start of warm-up
Meet Entry Fees: TBC
*Coaches will enter athletes who have signed up and all entry fees will be charged monthly through Keyano's billing system.
Entry Limit: 4 events
Confirmation Deadline: Tuesday October 6th, 2026

General disclaimer about fees & sign-up deadlines: Signing up for any event constitutes a financial commitment to that event. Note that sign-up deadlines are set such that fees are no longer refundable beyond that date. Keyano pays for event costs and for entry fees to other club's hosted meets up front on behalf of members, and then passes those costs on to those signed up for a competition through monthly invoices. As a non-profit organization, it is our mandate to ensure each member is responsible for their own fees as of the sign-up deadline.
