Winter Provincial Trials meet is a three day swim meet with heats and finals for the 50's, 100's and 200's and timed finals for the 400 & 800's. Swimmers may qualify for this meet by achieving one of the Provincial Trials time standards.
Provincial Trials is a heats and finals competition for swimmers aspiring to reach the Provincial Championships including automatic qualification for event winners.
Event: Summer Provincial Trials
Date: June 26th - June 28th, 2026 (Friday to Sunday)
Pool: MNP Community & Sports Centre, Calgary AB
Swimmers eligible: Gold, Junior & Senior Provincial & Junior National who have achieved a Provincial Trials time standard. Swimmers are de-qualified if they have achieved a Provincial Championships time standard.
Please check with your coach to see if your swimmer is qualified for this meet!
Meet Times:
Friday June 26th, Saturday June 27th & Sunday June 28th - Prelims (AM)
Warm up: 7:30am, Start: 8:20am
Friday June 26th & Saturday June 27th - Finals (PM)
Warm up: 4:00pm, Start: 4:50pm
Sunday June 28th - Finals (PM)
Warm up: 3:00pm, Start 3:50pm
**Please be on deck 20 minutes prior to the start of warm-up
Meet Entry Fees: $18.00 per individual event, $22.75 per relay
*Coaches will enter athletes who have signed up and all entry fees will be charged monthly through Keyano's billing system.
Entry Limit: Swimmers may be entered into a max of 7 individual events.
Meet packages are for reference only. Only Keyano's designated entry coordinator may contact a host club, if you have questions about your swim meet please reach out to your coach first or to Coach Matt if your coach is unavailable.
Confirmation Deadline: Friday June 6th, 2025 at 4:00pm
General disclaimer about fees & sign-up deadlines: Signing up for any event constitutes a financial commitment to that event. Note that sign-up deadlines are set such that fees are no longer refundable beyond that date. Keyano pays for event costs and for entry fees to other club's hosted meets up front on behalf of members, and then passes those costs on to those signed up for a competition through monthly invoices. As a non-profit organization, it is our mandate to ensure each member is responsible for their own fees as of the sign-up deadline.
