This competition is for qualified swimmers only, under the guidance of the Jr National and Sr National coaching staff.
Please denote if you will be on Team Travel in the notes during your sign-up. Only those who declare Team Travel before the deadline will be guaranteed a spot in the Team Travel roster.
Team Travel declarations will be responsible for all travel costs after the entry deadline. Costs will scale based on the number of swimmers on team travel, so a precise cost cannot be known at this time. Below is a rough estimate of costs for the trip:
- Flights: $1,000 (lowest fare is $873, but group bookings tend to go beyond just the few lowest fares available)
- Hotel: $1,600 (9 nights @ $150 + tax)
- Airport transport: $100 (shuttle / taxi)
- Metro passes: $35
- Food: $400 (10 days x $40/day)
This will be a great trip for the swimmers attending. The 1976 Olympic Games pool has seen some historic performances and the city of Montreal in July/August is beautiful and bustling with activity.
